Exceptional Things to Do in Paris: La Fromagerie 31
Alongside standard fare, the shop sells a range of the stinkiest cheeses. These include the Normand au Calvados, the Munster au Cumin, and the Trou du Cru (whose name is a vulgar pun). If you are looking for something less likely to be ambulatory, the knowledgeable staff can help you choose according to your taste. They may ask you when you plan to eat, in order to select a wedge or wheel at the ideal temperature.
If you have more time, have a cheese-tasting lunch on the outdoor terrace. The meal includes salad, bread, and a selection of five, seven, or nine cheeses, served in order of increasing pungency. At such a tasting I discovered the Selles sur Cher, an excellent mild goat cheese.
La Fromagerie 31 is located in Paris’s Saint Germain de Prés
quarter (Metro Mabillon), known for its phenomenal shopping. The shop is closed Sunday afternoons and
Mondays, and daily from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The staff speaks English. (Click the business card for a larger version.)
My Wife and I are coming back to Paris soon. We are big fans of Ina Garten owner of the Barefoot Contessa here in the United States. While watching here show on TV (The Barefoot Contessa in Paris Ina came into your shop. We loved the many cheeses on display and would like to vist you when we arrive in Paris
Rather than staying in a hotel this time we would like to rent an apartment for an extended stay close to your shop as well as other food shops and outdoor markets which would be close to us so we can walk to them and do our own cooking.
My question is can you recommend an Arrondissement and a nice street to us that would serve our needs?
Thanking you in advance for taking the time to commicate with us

Try this out - (http://www.francehomestyle.com/) we used an apartment from this firm last year near the Pantheon - very close to St Germain de Pres, and it was affordable and nice area - private. Good Luck and Enjoy Paris (we go again to Paris this weekend !)
